Ok! Here it is, my new thinline archtop! Ive been wanting to combine some of the stuff I do with my archtops as far as tone and woods, with ideas on how to break the price barrier for people and make it more affordable as a working guitar. This is what I’ve come up with. All carved woods, but with a bolted neck, chambered core, and satin finish back. Designed to be very portable too, but with enough air on the inside that it has a good acoustic response as well as airy tone. These guitars are way easier to make than my other guitars, hence the lower price. But hopefully Ive preserved some of the bigger tone of the full hollow instruments with the chambered body. I think so!
Soundclips coming soon…
