Been doing a lot of tweaking on Gilad’s new guitar! He’s been traveling for the last several weeks and left his new axe with me to tweak and adjust. The longer you wait before making final adjustments on a new guitar, the more likely the guitar has finished reacting / settling to the new tension of the strings. This lessens the chance that it will need more adjusting other than typical seasonal stuff a few times a year. So this new guitar has had plenty of time and i was able to dial in a killer string set and playing feel. Gilad plays with a super light touch and very precise technique and asked for a very fast setup with ultra low action. Its playing great!
Heres a quick and dirty impromptu video i did with the guitar at the shop. Making these guitars is so much fun, but the most fun is playing them of course :^) so i take the liberty of doing lots of noodling on everyones guitars. Yea- I’m “working” thats it haha. Reaaallly looking forward to what happens when Gilad starts using it!! wooooooo
