Assembly on all the fall guitars is a wrap, and I’ve moved onto the staining steps. This is always a really inspiring time in the build process since all the grain and figure in the woods pop to life and are greatly enhanced. These are all hand applied alcohol stains, with usually 2-3 combinations of colors to create the “base” color for the paint jobs. Some sealer coats and sanding steps are next prior to lacquer color and topcoat stages. Awesome!
