I did a run of these cool solid bodies back in 2006- I call them my DDC (deep double cut) model. Ive been toying with the idea of making some more. They were FUN! Anybody interested?

This axe will have some awesome soundports (see schematic), and they are bound in quilted mahogany. I toyed with some ideas and thought it would be easier to bind them prior to rough carving. Worked great! The aged european spruce top looks awesome.
